Voluntourindia is a non-profit organization which is affiliated with Destiny Foundation. (a small production center in Kolkata, founded to offer employment to women rescued from the sex slave trade and those at risk) and other non-governmental organizations, in order to provide a helping hand to the poor of India while giving volunteers an opportunity to tour India and to work with like-minded individuals.

What you can do?

• You can plan a holiday with any kind of volunteer work in India according to your preference and expertise.
• You can plan your tour with out any volunteer service also ; still you are enabling us to use your money for a special cause.
• You can lend your expertise to these organisation who need your help.
• You can do any kind of activity work,dancing ,singing,painting with the children.
• If you are a doctor or nurse you can do a health clinic.
• If you are in designing ;jewellry ,accessories or know any kind of hand craft please teach the women which will empower them.
• You can collect donation like soaps,shampoo,pencil,eraser or any kind of study material clothings from your friends and family to distribute it among the kids.
• You can cook a hot meal one day for the childrens in any shelter home and eat together.
• You can do shopping from the women who need your help.
• You may choose to simply play, sing, dance or do an art project with shelter children.
• If you are a health professional, you would be welcome to work at a clinic.
• If you have expertise in jewelry making or other product design, many women would love to learn from you.
• Perhaps you would like to cook a meal and share it with shelter children.
• Throughout your time in India you have opportunities to purchase fine hand-made items, thus supporting the women and children creating them.
